Al Pacino Scarface Typography Portrait | 2021
The concept of this class project was to create a portrait of a celebrity through the use of type. I chose to illustrate the actor Al Pacino. The included text that I edited and manipulated word by word corresponds to his movies, quotes, role characteristics, and films' themes. The color scheme mirrors the dramatic cover of his movie Scarface.

Iron Man Type Visual | 2021
The objective of this class project was to redesign a logo for a Marvel superhero, specifically focusing on the typography. As a Robert Downey Jr. and Tony Stark fan, Iron Man was a simple choice. Specifically, I wanted to emulate Iron Man's suit and armour, as I built the letters through illustrations that mirrored the structured parts.

Tsunami Type Visual | 2021
The objective of this project was to utilize typography to create an innovative design of a natural disaster. The concept was to unify the illustrated visual and type by incorporating an assimilated art aspect of artist Hokusai's piece, The Great Wave off Kanagawa.
